The Weight Loss Cure 'They' Don’t Want You to Know About: What You Can Eat

Not much. In chapter 8 of The Weight Loss Cure 'They' Don’t Want You to Know About, the author spells out the very short list of foods to eat and the long list of foods to avoid. The following program is supposed to result in weight loss, even while you sleep:

* Drink 8 glasses of pure water daily.
* Eat a big breakfast.
* Consume no MSG, aspartame, artificial sweeteners, diet sodas, diet food, high-fructose corn syrup, fast food, hydrogenated oil, white sugar or flour, artificial color, natural or artificial flavor, palm oil, dextrose, fructose, soy protein isolates, and any foods with ingredients you cannot pronounce.
* Buy organic food from health-food stores or farmers markets and avoid brand-name products from large food companies.
* No eating after 6 p.m.
* Consume 100% organic, virgin, unrefined coconut oil.
* Rid yourself of the urge to eat when you are not hungry.
* Give into one of your cravings each day.
* Eat large salads at lunch and dinner.

Whereas the link to this Title takes you to a negative review article by Kathleen M. Zelman, MPH, RD, LD, I find no fault with the proposed diet detailed above. I don't know about the rest of the book but it certainly cannot hurt someone to drink pure water, eliminate chemically polluted food, stop eating late at night, and to eat more wholesome food such as salads.

Come on, this is just plain common sense and yet the "Experts" warn: "..if you follow the advice, it could lead to possible health consequences and lots of lost money." Yeah! that's what losing weight IS... a (good) health consequence. And like they're giving away diet soda and fat pills and liposuction these days for free! (Better not drink pure water, it's bad for you. You must eat the wonderful pristine, artificial, chemically engineered man-made food to remain healthy - yeah that's the ticket! ;-).

My humble opinion; ignore the FDA's "advice". The FDA is owned by the corporations. Remember the Food Pyramid and RDA? What a joke!!! (Check out the Related Links below).

Use your God-given common sense: eat less, eat wholesome, LIVE food and get off your bum and go for a walk or bike ride instead of POISONING YOUR BRAIN with garbage TV, (not to mention the unhealthy radio waves).

Tip: On those days when you simply can't break free of your TV ADDICTION, Pop some organic popcorn in virgin organic COCONUT OIL and then shake on some pure SEA SALT for flavoring; tell me that it doesn't taste wonderful! It's a normally nutrient void, (bad) fat and chemical laden snack turned wholesome; and coconut oil actually INCREASES metabolism! Can you say blockage buster?!
