We have created a product called ACRef which allows you to look up area codes from your desktop. You do not need to be connected to the Internet to run this.
Easy to Use & Informative: You just enter an area code and it will tell you the primary cities within that area code, along with the time zone that area code is primarily in, plus the local time. Note that some area codes cross time zones, so the local time may be off by an hour in those cases.
Free Updates*: This product has an option where you can click a button to go to our web site and update the data to the latest version. Lately, the number of new area codes has slowed down dramatically, so new versions may only be released about once or twice a year.
Additional Feature: You can also click another button which will go to our web site and bring up the latest Area Code / Time Zone Reference List. This is an Adobe Acrobat PDF file and is a very popular free product which we provide.
Easy to Install: This program requires no installer to run on your computer. It does not update the Windows Registry. This file consists of a self-extracting archive file that will unzip into its own folder. It can be deleted simply by deleting the \AcRef folder and the acref.exe file.
